Who lives and does business in Keshav Puram?
Keshav Puram is a residential colony in North West Delhi, PIN 110035, laid out in numbered blocks and sitting right beside the Lawrence Road industrial area. The two halves shape what a local family or owner asks an accountant for.
On the residential side, a typical house has a salaried member, a retired parent drawing a pension, and often a floor let out on rent. Block markets hold grocers, chemists, tailors, mobile shops, tuition centres and clinics.
Across the road, Lawrence Road is lined with small factories, workshops, godowns and wholesale trading offices. Many are proprietorships or partnerships run by families who live a few minutes away in Keshav Puram itself, so the same owner may need GST and TDS for the unit and a personal return for the household.
What does a CA in Keshav Puram handle most often?
Most requests fall into four groups: yearly returns for salaried and retired residents, GST registration and returns for shops, monthly compliance for Lawrence Road units, and catch-up work when filings have slipped. The table maps each situation to what gets filed.
For a new shop or unit, the trigger is turnover. In Delhi you must register under GST once supplies of goods cross ₹40 lakh in a financial year, or ₹20 lakh for services; see GST registration in Delhi for the paperwork. A small unit should also take its free Udyam certificate; micro status currently covers investment up to ₹2.5 crore and turnover up to ₹10 crore, explained on our MSME registration page.
| Your situation | What is filed | Date to watch |
|---|---|---|
| Salary, pension or rent, AY 2026-27 return missed | Belated ITR | 31 December 2026 |
| Shop or unit with a tax audit for FY 2025-26 | ITR after the audit report | 21 November 2026 (CBDT Circular 07/2026) |
| GST registered, monthly filer | GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B | 11th and 20th of the next month |
| GST registered, quarterly (QRMP) filer in Delhi | GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B | 13th and 24th after the quarter |
| Paying rent, contractors or salaries above TDS limits | Quarterly TDS return | 31 Jan, 31 May, 31 Jul, 31 Oct |

Worked example: one year of filings for a Lawrence Road unit
Take an illustrative case: a family packaging unit on Lawrence Road, run as a proprietorship, GST registered, on the quarterly QRMP scheme, with annual turnover of about ₹1.5 crore. It pays workshop rent and job-work contractors, so it also deducts TDS. Here is what its calendar looks like from now to mid 2027.
Two points matter for this owner. First, as a Delhi taxpayer the quarterly GSTR-3B falls on the 24th, not the 22nd that applies in some other states. Second, the GSTR-3B liability now flows from GSTR-1 and cannot be edited in 3B, a GSTN change reported from the July 2025 tax period, so mistakes must be fixed through GSTR-1A before filing. Clean monthly accounting and bookkeeping is what keeps those numbers right the first time.
| Due by | Filing | Note |
|---|---|---|
| 21 Nov 2026 | ITR for FY 2025-26, if a tax audit applies | Audit cases only |
| 31 Dec 2026 | GSTR-9 for FY 2025-26 | Exempt up to ₹2 crore turnover on current notifications; confirm on the GST portal |
| 13 Jan 2027 | GSTR-1 for October to December | IFF optional for months one and two |
| 24 Jan 2027 | GSTR-3B for October to December | Delhi's quarterly slot |
| 31 Jan 2027 | TDS return for October to December | New form numbers under the Income-tax Act 2025 |
| 31 May 2027 | TDS return for January to March | Issue TDS certificates to payees after filing |
Example only. GST dates from Rule 61 and the GST portal; TDS dates and the new form mapping (26Q to Form 140) as reported by tax publishers in 2026 and worth confirming on the TRACES portal.
How do I reach the NSP office from Keshav Puram?
Board the Red Line at Keshav Puram station heading towards Rithala; the very next stop is Netaji Subhash Place, and Best Sky Tower is a short walk from the exit. It is the quickest trip to our office from any colony we serve.
By road, an auto or cab from Keshav Puram to NSP is a short ride outside peak hours. Carrying ledgers or a box of bills? A cab beats the metro.
What should I bring to the first meeting, and do you visit?
Bring your PAN and Aadhaar, last year's ITR acknowledgement, bank statements for the year, and whatever you already have for the work: Form 16 or pension certificate for a return, GST login and sales and purchase registers for a shop, or rent and contractor bills for TDS. With these, we can usually quote on the spot.
After that first visit, most Keshav Puram clients send everything on WhatsApp or email. For a stock count or premises review at a Lawrence Road unit, we fix a visit by appointment.
Who signs audits and certificates, and when do you not need a CA?
Reserved work, such as a tax audit, a statutory audit, or a net worth or turnover certificate for a bank, must be done and signed by a practising chartered accountant. ICAI's ethics rules keep this work off aggregator listings, so we only explain it here and do not quote for it. Our directory of chartered accountant firms in Delhi shows which listed firm is a CA firm; check any CA's membership on ICAI's CA Connect portal before you engage them.
Equally, you may not need paid help at all. A resident with only salary and bank interest, using the pre-filled ITR-1 on the e-filing portal, can often file alone. Udyam registration is free on the government portal, which asks for Aadhaar along with PAN and GST details. Pay for a professional when there is business income, capital gains, GST, TDS, or a notice to answer.
Which areas near Keshav Puram do we also cover?
Keshav Puram borders several colonies with their own pages. The steel and manufacturing units of Wazirpur and the family homes of Ashok Vihar are both a few minutes away, and Pitampura sits beyond our own office district of Netaji Subhash Place.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a CA near Keshav Puram metro station?
Yes. Our office is one Red Line stop away at Netaji Subhash Place, a short walk from the station exit at 411, Best Sky Tower. Drop in any day except Sunday between 10 am and 7 pm, or message +91 99114 92897 on WhatsApp so someone is free when you arrive.
What is the PIN code of Keshav Puram?
Keshav Puram uses PIN 110035, while our office at Netaji Subhash Place is 110034. On GST, PAN or Udyam forms, type the PIN exactly as it appears on your electricity bill, rent agreement or other address proof, since a mismatch can delay approval.
Can you file GST returns for my Lawrence Road unit every month?
Yes. We file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B monthly or quarterly, match purchases against GSTR-2B so you claim the right input credit, and flag supplier invoices that are missing. You send sales and purchase data each month on WhatsApp or email and get a reminder before each due date.
I missed the July deadline for my ITR. Can I still file?
Yes, for AY 2026-27 a belated return can be filed until 31 December 2026. A late fee applies under section 234F, reported as ₹1,000 if total income is up to ₹5 lakh and ₹5,000 above that. Filing sooner also limits interest on any tax still due.
How quickly can a new Keshav Puram shop get GST registration?
Low-risk applicants who complete Aadhaar authentication can be approved electronically within three working days under the simplified scheme in force since 1 November 2025. Opting out of Aadhaar authentication, or being flagged for risk, sends the application to physical verification, which takes longer.
What does a CA in Keshav Puram charge?
We give a fixed quote after seeing your documents, because a pension return and a unit's monthly GST and TDS are very different jobs. Our guide to CA fees in Delhi shows what online platforms advertise, so you can compare.
